À propos de la chanson

En 1983, lors du tournage du clip de « I'm Still Standing » à Cannes, Elton John, épuisé après une longue journée, se rendit à son hôtel où il rencontra le groupe Duran Duran. Après une conversation, Simon Le Bon lui offrit un martini, et Elton en consomma six. Cette soirée se termina par une scène de chaos dans sa suite, illustrant l'énergie débordante de l'artiste.
